My name is Angelique Bjork! I was born in Ottawa and moved to the Yukon when I was 10 – along with my two horses Sonny and Poco. I’ve been riding and loving horses for more than 30 years.
I got my first horse when I was four years old and he (Sonny) was 18 months! We grew up together and he was my best friend. Raising horses from young and developing them into elite athletes has always been my passion. During my teen years I got very involved with barrel racing and gymkhana events so my Dad bought me a barrel horse named Skye who I had coveted since I first saw her as a 3 year old. She had a lot of baggage but with time and patience she developed into an amazing horse. This is when I decided that working with horses would be the direction I would take with my life!
